Introduction

Hello, my name is Jennifer and I like carbs. Sugar. Soda. Peanut butter M&M's. Wine. Oh, glorious wine. I also love my children and husband and I've decided I love them way more than any of the above. (besides wine. I still love wine.)

At the age of 27, I've allowed myself to get up to the weight of 242.7. Acceptable? No way. Especially since I want to be around to dance at my son's wedding, and help my daughter with her babies. (Did I mention my kids are 4 years old and 4 months old? I'm clearly thinking in the future.) My 4 year old girl, thus referred to as 'Peanut' is VERY active. VERY VERY active. This video is how crazy active she is daily. No kidding. I want to be able to keep up with her, Bubbers (the little man) and my husband.

I've become addicted to Pinterest quite some time ago, and I have a board devoted specifically to 'Getting Fit'. Which really doesn't do me any good as just a Pinterest board, right? I have to actually do these things. On top of it, I'm relying on this blog as a sort of 'check in' every day. Something to hold me accountable. Yes, I have a MyFitnessPal account, but who has time to track everything? Not this girl.

Anyway, I'll be posting my daily achievements and fails, weekly weight and measurement check ins, goals, recipes, and workouts. Check back daily!
